| It is Time for UIL Contest UIL Concert contest is upon us and it is time to perform. The bands have been preparing vigorously several months and are now ready. The Honor Band will be performing at DeKaney High School in Spring at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 9th.. The students need to be at school by 7:30. The Wind Ensemble goes to Westfield to perform. Their concert is at 12:30 pm on Thursday, April 10th. Both bands need to bring money for lunch, as we will stop in the way back to school. |
Spring Trip Information
The spring trip is always a highlight of the year and this year should
be no exception. The trip to San Antonio is looking to be loads of
fun. After travelling to San Antonio, we will perform in the festival
competition. Then, after dinner at Sunset Station, everyone will
receive salsa lessons before we adjourn to the hotel. The next
couple of days will be spent at Fiesta Texas and Sea World.
Final payments on the trip should be coming in at this time.
Everyone's balance should be up to $400 by February 1st. Those
students taking advantage of the candy fund raiser should be
finishing up soon and turning in the rest of their money by the end
of the week.

schedules. Remember, that all return times are estimates. All
students are required to ride the bus to all events and parents
who wish to pick up their kids after the event need to supply a
note to the directors prior to the event.

Congratulations to the Guard
The Magnolia A & B guards have had a wonderful season and have
made Magnolia High School very proud. The "A" guard placed at
almost every contest and ended the year placing third at State
Contest. The "B" guard scored well within a classification that
contained most every other schools top guard. Congratulations
girls! Great Year!
